Korea-China New Energy Automobile Industry Cooperation Forum Held in Beijing

The Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) China Headquarters stated on the 7th that the 2021 Korea-China New Energy Automobile Industry Cooperation Forum will be held in Beijing on the same day. The auto industry experts of the two countries are seeking cooperation in new energy vehicles.
The theme of this forum is "Green New Deal and Future Cars". South Korea's SK Innovation, YG-1, HYLIUM, China Foton Motor, Beiben Heavy Duty Truck, Baidu, Penghui Battery and other two countries' new energy vehicle companies and industry experts participated.
Korean experts introduced the current status and development potential of the Korean new energy vehicle market and called on Chinese companies to actively invest.Kim Se-yup, director of the Korea Automotive Research Institute, said that thanks to government support policies, the Korean new energy vehicle market is growing rapidly. The government strives to expand infrastructure such as charging stations by 2025 and provide various support for new energy vehicle technology research and development.
Shi Jianhua, deputy secretary-general of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, said that China's new energy vehicle sales are expected to exceed 2 million this year, and he hopes to actively develop technical cooperation with South Korean companies.(Finish)
